Supporting Child Health and Education Through Back-to-School Outreach in Makoko
OUTREACH
10/3/2019

In the spirit of Nigeria’s Independence Day, the Citizens Health Initiative Nigeria collaborated with Impact Future Nigeria Initiative to provide support for our future generations. This year, the spotlight was on the Aiyetoro African Church Primary School in Makoko, Lagos, as both organizations organized a meaningful outreach program geared towards helping children from low-income families.
The initiative involved presenting back-to-school kits to pupils in need, aiming to facilitate their educational journey as they step into the new academic year. Each kit included essential school supplies, ensuring that these young minds would have the necessary tools to succeed in their studies. The commitment to education reflects a broader understanding of its vital role in breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering opportunities for the youth.
This outreach program exemplifies the dedication of the Citizens Health Initiative Nigeria and the Impact Future Nigeria Initiative to improve the prospects of children through educational support and community engagement. By addressing the disparities faced by students from low-income households, we strive to create an environment where education is accessible and valued. The initiative not only empowers young minds but also fosters a culture of community responsibility and cooperation.
