No Nigerian Should Be Left Behind in the COVID-19 Response, CHIN Warns

The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed deep cracks in Nigeria's health system, and Citizens Health Initiative Nigeria is calling for urgent action to ensure those cracks do not swallow the most vulnerable.

As the country battles the pandemic, CHIN is raising the alarm that demographic, socioeconomic, and geographical inequalities continue to determine who gets care and who does not. For millions of Nigerians in underserved communities, the barriers to basic healthcare that existed before COVID-19 have only deepened.

CHIN is urging all stakeholders to keep health equity at the center of Nigeria's pandemic response, not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.
